FITNESS CHALLENGE

Join us for a 3-month challenge beginning January 5th – March 28th as we travel from South Carolina to Milan, Italy for the Winter Olympics. Our mode of transportation will be: WALKING, RUNNING, BIKING, SWIMMING,ROWING or FITNESS CLASSES!
  1. Up to 10 people per team. You can choose who is on your team or randomly join others! Each team will be represented by a country (ex: USA, Japan, Jamaica etc.)
  2. Sign up for your team at the front desk.
  3. Join our Y Gametime Alert for challenge updates. See the front desk to sign up.
  4. Complete your miles using any mode of exercise:
  • Running – Jogging – Walking
  • Cardio Exercise Equipment (Ellipticals, Steppers, Rowers etc.)
  • Swimming: 1 mile swam = 3 miles on tracker
  • Fitness Classes: 1 hour of class = 2 miles on tracker
  1. Follow your teams progress on the map and mile tracker in the lobby by the pool. Starting January 5th enter your daily mileage into your team’s binder. Every Monday YMCA staff will tally individual miles from each group and add together for a collective group mileage update from the previous week.
  2. Miles 2 Milan is a great way to HAVE FUN while getting FIT!!
